Just had an update of jwchat.org to the latest version from CVS. Problems with Firefox3 not working correctly should be gone now. Please make reports here if you’re still discovering any issues!

Today there’s a nice article introducing JWChat on linux.com. Thanks for spreading the word!

Amongst some bugfixes and updated/new translations this release contains the latest version of JSJaC (v1.2). The bundled war file now comes with the latest version of JabberHTTPBind (v1.1) too.

Thanks to fh JWChat from CVS is now up2date with JSJaC. Also he was kind enough to fix various of the old and outstanding bugs and to clean up our trackers at sourceforge. Thanks a lot Florian!

Now that I found same spare time finally I tried using JWChat with Safari and to me surprise I discovered using the latest version of JSJaC it’s possible to log in and do some chatting with it. Unfortunately it crashes on various situations. And with crashing I mean that safari disappears immediately without any error [...]

JWChat.org supports SSL now. You should get a CAcert certificat when pointing your browser to https://jwchat.org. In order to validate this certificate some browser may have to import CAcert’s root certificates first.

For your convenience I just uploaded an updated war file of JWChat to SourceForge. It contains all the latest code (CVS) from JWChat, JSJaC and JabberHTTPBind.
